Alongside photographs of each plant, there are details with the common and scientific names, bloom color, height, bloom dates, and fun facts about preferred habitat, scent, uses, etc.
Rachel and Sammy’s Prairie Partner by Jannifer Powelson does a wonderful job of communicating her love of the prairie and, at the same time, educating readers about the plants they will find there.
